I made my first spicy hummus oil-free the other day because the ones that are in stores contain too much oil and it is absolutely not needed for a great tasting hummus!

Delicious oil-free spicy hummus

Ingredients
- 200 g Cooked chickpeas
- 20 g Coriander
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon Chili flakes (or two chopped fresh chilies)
- 4 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Tahini (optional!)
- Salt to taste (1/2 teaspoon makes it for us)
Instructions
- Put everything in the blender and blend until it is creamy
- Add some chili flakes on top to decorate
- Enjoy
Notes
- If you cook the chickpeas yourself, one good trick is to add coriander and chili flakes to the boiling water plus some stock, this will give them a lot of flavour!
- Once you try making your own hummus, there is no way back! it is just much better and tastier!
